Transition Day 1 Tuesday 27th February 2018
Today the children were introduced to the story 'Gorilla Loves Vanilla' and discussed the title, blurb, author and illustrator. We read the story using reciprocal reading strategies and stopped reading when the gorilla enters. The children predicted what they thought would happen next and discussed their predictions with each other. They drew and wrote their prediction.
There was also time for playing, pencil control patterns and writing our names.
